How to Use Permeater PD-1C

Filling and Setup

  • A diffusion tube with a fixed inner diameter is filled with a liquid substance (usually an organic solvent) using a syringe and maintained at a constant temperature.

  • At the set temperature, the liquid evaporates and diffuses at a constant rate, determined by the tube’s dimensions.

Continuous Gas Generation

  • A steady flow of dilution gas (like air or nitrogen) passes through the tube, mixing with the evaporated substance to continuously generate a low, stable concentration of calibration gas.
